New York City to get 90 new articulated buses
The MTA, the agency in charge of the public transportation system in and around New York City, has recently placed an order for 90, very handsome and sharp looking, articulated buses. The new buses will feature exit sensors which will allow a passenger to place his/her hand on the door and voila!…the door opens. Nova, the company in charge of manufacturing the buses, has built a plant in Plattsburgh, NY which will employ 172 workers.
Good news for those that live up there. Upstate New York, as opposed to downstate, has a very poor economy which, if it where a separate state, will put it alongside Arkansas.
